a question has been written we're working to get on the November Ballot.
This is an example of the work some people are doing to get an " official " message to our ( district ) State Representatives that the "numb" ers commonly being published and worked toward as being acceptable in an effort to mitigate the catastrophic and cataclysmic effects of pumping fossil carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases ( methane etc. ) into our atmosphere are unacceptable.

There's ambiguity about this particular phrase " phases out tax incentives for energy-intensive projects" noted by many people who have signed and been reluctant to sign because of the language as RENEWABLE energy intensive projects are what we are calling for and certainly will appreciate support and inclusion of tax incentives.
It was written this way as we were attempting to keep the question as short and simple as possible. There is supporting text in the questions and answers on our modest website.
I'd really appreciate getting into a conversation about your thoughts about the effectiveness of a local, non binding public policy ballot initiative, what it will take, as an effort of "we, the people" both politically and in the ways we alter our lifestyles to, eventually, reduce to zero the fossil and nuclear fuels we consume.
